There's one address for every kind of message. We read everything that comes in and try to respond to anything that needs a response within two business days.
What to write about
To help us route your message, a quick note in the subject line about the topic is useful. Common reasons people get in touch:
- Tips and story suggestions. Atlanta-area stories we should be aware of, or national/global stories you'd like to see an editorial on.
- Corrections. Factual errors in a published editorial — fabricated specifics, misattributions, or claims you can show are wrong. Please include the editorial's title or URL and a description of what you believe is incorrect. See our Editorial Standards for our correction policy.
- Link-removal requests. If you are the publisher of an article we've linked to and would prefer that we not link to your content, write to us with the article URL and we will remove the link.
- Editorial feedback. Disagreements with an editorial's argument or framing. We may revise an editorial or append an editor's note when a reader response calls for one.
- Privacy questions. Questions about how we handle visitor data, opt-outs, or requests under GDPR or CCPA. See our Privacy Policy for the long version.
- Press, partnership, or business. Inquiries from other publications, syndication interest, or anything advertising-related (separate from Google AdSense, which is handled directly by Google).
What to expect
We are a small independent publication; messages are read by the editor, not a support desk. Most replies come within two business days. Substantive correction requests are usually faster than that. We do not auto-respond, send marketing email, or sign senders up for a list.
We do not currently accept attachments larger than a few megabytes. If you have a larger file (a PDF document, a longer audio clip, etc.), describe it in your first message and we'll find a way to receive it.
What we can't help with
- Removing or correcting articles published by other outlets. Our story cards link out to the original publishers; their editors handle their own corrections.
- Investigating individual disputes, legal matters, or law enforcement questions. We are not a newsroom equipped for investigative work and we do not give legal advice.
- Restoring access for users who believe they have been blocked. We do not run user accounts, comments, or forums; there is nothing to restore access to.
Mailing address
ATL Free Press is a publication of TSG Media, based in Atlanta, Georgia. We do not currently publish a physical mailing address. For postal correspondence, please email first and we'll provide one if it's needed.
